About Us

Chasing Pastries is owned and operated by Robert Rice and Sophy Hon, a couple who both shared the same passion for food. Our desire for cooking and baking made us realize that it’s necessary to be a part of a world where we are meant to be. Before Chasing Pastries, we have always been food enthusiasts who love to cook and bake in our spare time. We find our inner selves in the comfort of the kitchen. We both decided to take the next step and attended culinary school to further test our interests in the food industry. At a blink of an eye, we went from professional cooking to professional baking programs, graduated and received certifications in both areas. Our dedication and commitment prove to ourselves that the journey to the new path is the right decision. After attending and graduating from culinary school in the cooking and baking programs in 2014, the decision to pursue our passion in the industry is inevitable. We yearn to break free of a dream and finally living the reality of what is meant to be. Hence, we created Chasing Pastries.
